About
Othello, also referred to as Reversi, is a two-player board game of strategy. Each player has a set of pieces that are black on one side and white on the other, and the game is played on an 8x8 square board. Two black pieces and two white pieces are put in the center of the board in a certain pattern to begin the game.
The goal of the game is to finish it with the most pieces of your color on the board. When neither player can advance any farther or when all of the pieces have been placed on the board, the game is over.
A move is made by a player by positioning a piece on the board in such a way that it traps one or more of their opponent's pieces in a straight line between two of their own pieces of the same color (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal).
Despite the game's straightforward rules, it requires a lot of strategic consideration and planning. Each action a player makes has the potential to provide their opponent an edge, so players must carefully analyze their choices. In order to restrict their opponent's options and obstruct their movements, a player might also place their pieces tactically. The board can quickly fill up, and a single move might start a domino effect that grabs numerous pieces, so the game can alter quickly.
Reversi has existed since the late 1800s, and modern computers and internet versions have helped to make it more well-known. Reversi has also been the focus of artificial intelligence research, leading to the creation of a number of sophisticated computer systems.

Rules:
Two black pieces and two white pieces are put in the center of the board in a certain pattern to start the game.

When neither player can advance any farther or when all of the pieces have been placed on the board, the game is over.
When all of the pieces are on the board, you cannot move.
At the conclusion of the game, the player with the most pieces of their color on the board is declared the winner.
The Rules Of Reversi
Selecting an open square, each player turns their piece onto the board.
A player clicks on the square where they want to place their piece to initiate a move.
The piece will switch to the player's color if the move is lawful, and any opponent's pieces that were sandwiched between the new piece and other pieces of the same color will likewise switch to the player's color.
The player must select a different square to place their piece if the move is invalid.
